Meet yŌten!
Our story
Yōten was born from the union of two stylists Eryk and Israel who met in 2019 in London and decided to open their atelier in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, the oldest , most historic , emblematic and bohemian neighbourhood in the city.
Our atelier is located at Carrer Correu Vell 10/b-3, right next to the Traginers Square, where some remains of the Roman walls of Barcelona are located.
Our atelier is located in a place with walls and an arch of more than 600 years, which makes our location a unique experience, a relaxed atmosphere where you can come to cut your hair or for coloring application if you want a change of look, even to put on makeup for an event . We also have our own collection of clothes and bags made by us.
All the products we work with for both hair and makeup are vegan, animal friendly and top quality. Our mission is to offer our customers a high quality in services and a new ecological and healthy alternative for both their hair and skin with Products such as PULPRIOT, LIVINGPROOF, OLAPLEX, MILK, FENTY BEAUTY, THE ORDINARY AND KVD.
The fabrics we use to make clothes and bags are of vintage origin so we reuse quality fabrics and synthetic leather, cotton, wool...
OUR PHILOSOPHY
As a brand and as part of the LGBTQ+ community we wanted to create a genderless space where everyone is welcomed and feel safe.
We have a commitment with your hair and skin that is why we working with clean, vegan, animal cruelty free products because we believe and bet in the goods of natural ingredients and less chemical products.
On our clothes collection we make only 1 piece of each item so we don’t do a big production as we want to make it unique for our costumers and also we use vintage fabrics to create our collection so we give a second life to the fabrics.
